A new model for 2026, the Mica offers a new direction in Lynx OGT headlamps. While our other range-topping models prioritize wilderness usage, i.e. a lightweight and high-performance yet durable build, the new Mica headlamp is personal lighting from a lasting, precise, and heavy-duty tool perspective. The metal is more dense and the tolerances are tighter. While in other models we prioritize taking some material away to make the headlamp feel lighter on the trail, material is strategically left in some locations on the Mica so it stands the test of time.
The Mica headlamp is manufactured in a slightly different way than our other headlamps. 100% of the metal parts in the Mica are CNC machined from a solid block of billet aluminum.
Long battery life in the Mica headlamp is achieved through efficient use of the Cree LEDs and the extra density of the aluminum housing to stabilize operating temperatures of the LEDs long-term. This is an extremely efficient headlamp with high outputs and longer charge intervals!
A new black headband for this model incorporates reflective elements including the Lynx OGT logo on the side, and another reflective element on the rear of the strap to help the user stay safe and visible at night.
